Pearl High School:

Preserving Its Legacy For Generations Past, Present, and Future

Pearl High School, the historically black high school, has for decades enjoyed national esteem among educators and citizens alike as the Mecca of secondary education in Nashville, Tennessee.

About Us

The nonprofit Pearl High School Heritage Classes Foundation, Inc. exists to preserve the legacy of an esteemed secondary institution whose output of superior students literally mocked the segregation public policy imposed on it in earlier years.

Our Mission

To continue the legacy of historic Pearl High School by awarding scholarships to graduating high school seniors whose relatives attended Pearl High School.

More info

To guarantee that revisionist history can never marginalize the high school or undervalue its contributions, surviving graduates of the institution organized the Pearl High School Heritage Classes Foundation, Inc.
