Ms. Destinee Wright, daughter of Mr. Michael Wright and Mrs. Donna Wright, is a graduate of Beech High School. She has been accepted to Western Kentucky University with a major in Psychology. Her grandmother, Mrs. Gwendolyn Carpenter-Sharp, was a graduate of Pearl High class of 1954.

Mr. Antonio Turner, son of Mrs. LaDonna Copeland, is a graduate of Whites Creek High School. He has been accepted at Lipscomb University where he will major in Education. His grandmother, Mrs. Helen Hill, is a graduate of Pearl High and his mother, LaDonna Copeland was in the class of 1981.

Mr. Clinton Ricks, son of Mrs. Machealle Woods, is a graduate of Pearl Cohn Magnet High School. He has been accepted at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and will major in English Literature. His legacy is from his grandmother, Ms. Emma Dee Eason-Hambrick, Pearl High class of 1967.

Mr. Sayyid Love, son of Mr. Chris Love and Mrs. Earletta Smith Love, is a graduate of Martin Luther King Magnet High School and has been accepted to Fisk University to major in Education-Sociology. His grandmother is Mrs. Verlene Bell Smith, a 1968 Pearl High graduate.

Mr. LaDoverick Bryard Huggins, son of Mr. LaDoverick Bryard Huggins, Sr. and Mrs. Jana’ Huggins, is a University School of Nashville High School graduate who has been accepted at the University of Cincinnati, College Conservatory of Music to major in Commercial Music Production . His grandmother is Mrs. Dorothy Jane Turner-Williams, a 1951 Pearl High School graduate.

Ms. Darian Frierson, daughter of Mr. Darren Frierson and Ms. Karla Warner, is a graduate of Cane Ridge High School. She will attend the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and major in Nursing. Her mother, Mr. Charles Warner, her grandfather, was in the Pearl High class of 1961.

Ms. Quanique Coffman, daughter of Mr. Eugene Coffman and Mrs. Lillian Coffman, is a Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet High School graduate, and is headed to University of Tennessee, Knoxville to major in Animal Sciences. Her great grandmother is Mrs. Ruth L. Terry from the Pearl High class of 1939.
